He bought At the Piano y024 from J. J. Cowan in 1899 Brown and Silver: Old Battersea Bridge y033, Symphony in White, No. 3 y061 and Note in Red and Violet: Nets y269; through Messrs Agnews in 1899; and Nocturne in Black and Gold: The Gardens y166 in 1903 from Magda Heinemann.
