Frida Uhl-Strindberg was an Austrian writer, translator and cultural entrepreneuress, who lived in London between 1908 and 1914.

Life:

About 1910 she was involved with W.T. Spencer and Messrs Dowdeswell in transactions regarding a large number of damaged canvases, which may or may not have originally been Whistler's, but of which the authenticity was in doubt.
