1908: 'Hastings Fishing Boats' was sent by Obach, London dealers, to Charles Lang Freer (1856-1919), Detroit, on 13 October, but returned on 31 December;

1911: Hastings m0830 and Hastings: fishing boats m0832 were possibly consigned by Obach & Co., to be sold at auction, Christie's, London, 21 July 1911 (lot 80) and bought by 'Baines' or 'Barnes';

1912: with Colnaghi (successors to Obach), London art dealers.

Date unknown: with Charles William Dowdeswell (1832-1915), London art dealer (stamp on verso);

Date unknown: acquired by George Edward Healing (1871-1953), 54 Richmond Road;
