Date unknown: bought from a collector in Southampton, England, by a private collector in the USA, and passed by family descent to a collector in Cold Spring Harbor, Long Island;

Before 1984: sold to Gilbert Waters (d. 2018) in Sarasota, Florida;

1989: sold through Hope Davis, New York art dealer, to a private collector, Los Angeles.
