Description
Kay described it as 'a nude woman, well planted on her feet, side view, with red cap against a reddish background'. The Saturday Review called it as 'one of the most complete of the figure sketches. In addition to decorative beauty of colour, the artist has sought to render a natural pose and the tone modelling of a young girl's figure.' 1
