Date
Man on a horse was drawn on the verso of an unrelated letter from a clergyman, Rose Fuller Whistler (1825-1894), Ashburnham Vicarage, Sussex, to Whistler, on 22 August 1887. 1 The letter is not related to the drawing. It is possible that it was drawn at Buffalo Bill's 'Wild West Show'.
