The charcoal is silvery, softened by the rubbing of the diagonal shading to right. The lines are somewhat tentative. Both legs are vague, and have been lengthened. The feet have been rubbed out and only partly replaced.

Conservation History

The paper is a dark brown, with small bits of wood-stalk and fine fibres, and a vertical grain.
