Isaac Cook, Jr., of Maine, was a collector. A director of The American Wine Company, he managed the family real estate in Maine. He married Edith Mudd. He dies at Biddeford Pool Maine.
Life:
Cook purchased Battersea Reach y045 in 1893 from Edward Guthrie Kennedy through Whistler. Kennedy described him to Whistler in 1895 as 'a very nice fellow'. He told Cook to ask Whistler for The White Girl m0471, which he had requested that Whistler 'put a head on' [GUW #07256].
