A friend of Whistler, the painter and illustrator Edward Killingworth Johnson (1825-1896) married Hannah Reynolds in November 1871.
They had three children, Gyles Alington, Hannah Barbara abd Richard Spencer Johnson.
Life:
After her husband's death she appears to have acted as an art dealer, and was an intermediary in sales of works by Whistler such as Dorothy Seton - A Daughter of Eve y552.
