Charles Morley was a journalist and editor.
Life:
From about 1885-1892, Morley was on the staff of the Pall Mall Gazette although he was never editor. Whistler corresponded with Morley on a number of occasions during the 1880s (#04379, #04380, #04381) and they appear to have been on familiar terms. Morley contributed to the Strand magazine during the 1890s. He was editor of the Pall Mall Magazine from 1905-12.
