Whistler painted many small panels of shop fronts, such as the panel illustrated above, Rose and Red: The Barber's Shop, Lyme Regis [YMSM 444], which was painted in the coastal town of Lyme Regis in Dorset, on the south coast of England. However a site in London, Paris or smaller towns in France or England is possible.
