Gold and Grey – The Sunny Shower, Dordrecht, The Hunterian

Among watercolours with similar subjects, Grey and Gold - Off Holland [M.0939], and Gold and grey - The Sunny Shower, Dordrecht [M.0973] suggest Dutch sites. The fact that it is not known if the painting under discussion, Gris et or: La Pluie en mer, was an oil or watercolour does not help establish the site or date!
