  • 1908: sold at auction, Christie's, London, 27 May 1908 (lot 378) as 'Two Ladies on the Shore', and bought by 'Paterson'.

  • 1913: sold at auction, Christie's, London, 15 May 1913 (lot 14) and bought by 'Wood'.
  • Date unknown: bought by F. O. Roberts;
  • By 1995: passed by family descent to a private collector.
