  • 1905: bought from Obach, London art dealers, by Margaret Selkirk Watson Parker (1867-1936) , 30 December 1905;
  • 1936: bequeathed to the University of Michigan with a life interest to her husband, Dr Walter R. Parker (1866-1955) ;
  • 1955: on his death, passed to the University of Michigan Museum of Art.
