Le Havre, a town on the river Seine opposite Honfleur, in France. Whistler painted several works there including Yellow and Silver: Havre [M.0984], Blue and Gold: Havre [M.0985], and Blue and Silver: Honfleur [M.0987]. Stimmung in Blau und Silber: Havre may inded have been one of these, exhibited under a different title.
