• 1857: bequeathed to his son, Dr Loring Woart Bailey (1839-1925), Fredericton, NB;
• 1925: bequeathed to his daughter, Laurestine Maria Bailey (1875-1961), Fredericton, NB;
• 1958: bought through her nephew Marshall D'Avray West (1901-1969), by William Maxwell Aitken, Lord Beaverbrook (1879-1964) ;
• 1964: bequeathed to his widow, Marcia Anastasia Aitken, Lady Beaverbrook, née Christoforides (1909-1994) ;
• 1970: bought from Lady Beaverbrook by the Beaverbrook Canadian Foundation.
