Paintings at Speke Hall

A sketch of Paintings at Speke Hall was mentioned in a letter from Anna Matilda Whistler (1804-1881) to her sister Kate Palmer on 3 November 1871, when Arrangement in Grey and Black: Portrait of the Painter's Mother [YMSM 101] was on view at Speke Hall near Liverpool. 1
