  • 1918: sold at auction, Marks sale, Christie's, London, 5 July 1918 (lot 27), bought by Wallis, London dealers.

In 1906, while owned by Murray Marks, it was photographed by William E. Gray for Joseph Pennell (1860-1926). 1

Exhibitions

It was not, as far as is known, exhibited in Whistler's lifetime.
