  • By 1904: owned by Howard Mansfield (1849-1938) until at least 1910.
  • Date unknown: said to have been with Harlow, McDonald, New York dealers.
  • 1934: deposited by Mrs C. J. Sullivan with Macbeth, New York dealers;
  • 1935: probably bought by Edwin A. Seasongood (1876-1953), financier, New York;
  • 1951: sold at auction, Seasongood sale, Parke-Bernet, New York, 5-6 November 1951 (lot 302).
  • 1960: sold at auction, Parke-Bernet, New York, 18 February 1960 (lot 62, repr.). and bought by the Kennedy Galleries;
  • 1974: sold to a private collector.
