Provenance

• 1881/1884: probably drawn for Amy Leslie Worth (Mrs Matthew Forster) (1852-1904) ;
• 1904: passed to her daughter Yvonne Isabella Forster (1877-1965) , who married Harry Dyson (1853-1921);
• 1965: bequeathed to her daughter, Maud Eliza Dyson (1909-1986).
• 2013: given by Paula Crane Lunder (b. 1935) and Peter H. Lunder (b. 1933) to Colby College Museum of Art.
