  • Date unknown: possibly with H. V. Allison & Co., New York art dealers;
  • Date unknown: acquired by Mrs Victoria Dreyfus (1881-1976) of Brewster, New York;
  • 1976: sold from the estate of Mrs Dreyfus, at auction, Sotheby Parke-Bernet, New York, 28 October 1976 (lot 115, repr.);
  • 1976: given by Mr and Mrs Arthur E. Hamilton to the Memorial Art Gallery, Rochester.
