  • 1914: bought on 12 March by Knoedler's, New York dealers, and sold in April to William Welles Bosworth (1869-1966) , New York;

  • 1927: sold by Knoedler's to a private collector;
  • 1939: bought back in May 1939;
  • 1948: sold to the Meredith Galleries, New York.
  • Date unknown: acquired for the E. R. and J. Pennell Collection, Library of Congress.
