These sketches were made in the court at Bow Street at the same time as Man in the dock at Bow Street Police Court [M.0679]. It is not known if they were originally all on the same sheet. One study is of two men, the other of a corner of the courtroom, with several figures. As reproduced, these measure ca 36 x 60 mm (1 3/8 x 2 3/8") and 75 x 125 mm (3 x 5"). The original has not been located.
